The Second Annual City Dinner was held at the Apothecaries Hall on Friday 11th November. It is the premier event in the ABP's social diary and it is an occasion when leaders from business, government and from related professional bodies are hosted.
This year, the association was addressed by Sir Paul Judge seen above left with Chairman Kevin Kingsland and Professor Brian Livesley on the right . Sir Paul has had a distinguished career in business and public life, being the key benefactor in the Judge Institute of Management at the University of Cambridge. He is currently Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, President of the Royal Society of Arts and of Teacher's TV and President of the Chartered Management Institute. His speech was very well received and a balance of business wisdom and often amusing human insights
Professor Brian Livesley, Master of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, presented awards for the Best Student to Charlotte Carter and to Pauline Grant for an Outstanding Contribution to Business Psychology.
Other top-table guests included John Flynn, Vice Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Mark Embleton, Trustee of the British Psychological Society and Chair of the Division of Occupational Psychology.
